As we continue to expand our digital presence, we are seeking a Deputy Digital Content Manager that will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Harrods’ digital content strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our brand values and business objectives.
This role will take the lead on key seasonal moments and promotions – utilising support from the Trade, Performance Marketing, Marcomms, Loyalty, and Insights teams, by collecting and disseminating reports and data, as well as offering strategic insight, in order for the team to deliver data-driven decisions.
About the Role
You will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the business to deliver world-class content across our channels, developing and managing strategic responses to brief, and operationally supporting the PMs and wider team to ensure the timely delivery of content.
As a Deputy Digital Content Manager you will:
- Assist with the planning and delivery of Harrods’ digital content, ensuring that it meets the needs of our customers and supports business objectives.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring that all content is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with wider marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and meets best practice guidelines for online content.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital content, using analytical tools to deliver performance insights and build action plans to improve performance.
- Work with the Group Content Manager to develop and maintain Harrods’ editorial style and tone of voice across all digital channels.
About You
You will be an individual that is passionate about digital content and would like to work for one of the world's most iconic luxury brands. You will have a creative and innovative approach to content development, with a strong understanding of current digital trends and emerging technologies. You will be a great communicator that has the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
You will also:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality content.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex content calendars and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with content management systems and analytical tools to monitor and report on digital content performance, Google Analytics and Content Square experience is a plus.
- Have a good understanding of SEO and best practice guidelines for online content.
