Distribution Warehouse Supervisor - Thatcham - 2 month FTC

Our Distribution team at Thatcham is looking for a Team Leader to join them. You’ll make sure all customer deliveries are received on time and any queries are resolved with care and attention. This position works varied shifts between 7am and 11pm and for the night shifts role 11pm – 7am across any 5 of 7 days a week with regular weekend work.

Our 340,000 square foot warehouse is at the heart of our international distribution service and a key cog in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

About you

You will oversee all operational activities and equipment are maintained to a high standard to ensure a first class delivery service is provided. You will be responsible for running SLA reports and updating management with all issues, as well as, for investigating customer service complaints and escalate where needed. As a Team Leader you will build and maintain strong working relationships with the operations team, external couriers and the shop floor, in addition to issue and maintain a high level of training, support and guidance to all operatives (current and new).

Having background in using SAP systems would be advantageous. You should be able to work flexible hours and days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role. Numerical, literacy and strong communication skills are essential.
