About You

You’re are a naturally friendly person with a genuine passion for making peoples’ day. Pro-active and can do, you get delight from dealing with customer queries no matter how big or small.  Confident dealing with the public, you’ll probably have a background in customer service in some shape or form.  You’ll understand that every interaction counts and take great pride in being the public face of Harrods.

What to Expect

Joining the Harrods Green Team as a Door Person, you’ll be joining what is undoubtedly the most iconic face of our Brand.  The roots of this role started way back in the 1800’s when Harrods first opened its doors and had “Carriage Attendants” to welcome guests to the store.  We use the word guest deliberately as Harrods is so much more than a store for the millions of people who visit us each year.

The Harrods Green Team are at the heart of our much loved brand.  Wearing the bespoke green uniform, our team of Green Men are both the first and the last point of contact for all who visit this famous location and we’re curious to know if there are any potential Green Women who would like to join our family.  One thing that’s for certain is whoever you are, giving a positive and memorable experience to our guests comes naturally.  You’ll be as comfortable taking a picture as you are being in one.  Instagram certainly see’s more than its share of visitor snaps with our Green Team in them!

What is Important

You will provide a ‘wow’ experience through your interactions with all guests, acting as an aid to the customer’s journey and their overall experience of the store. You will provide a warm and genuine welcome to each customer, initiating their shopping experience with clear direction, enthusiasm and positivity ensuring each customer enters and leaves the store feeling special.
