Reporting to the Director of Restaurants & Kitchens, we are now looking for a General Manager of International Restaurant Operations, who will be responsible for all Food & Beverage activity outside of Harrods Knightsbridge.

About The Role

This position will form part of the Executive Management team within the directorate whilst leading on all restaurant operations internationally. The core responsibilities of this role will be to lead a team of Operations Managers to ensure we operate our F&B outlets outside of the UK to a world class standard in line with our strategy and vision focusing on operational excellence to drive standards and find commercial opportunities to push our business forward in both our own bought and franchised business.

This role will set the benchmark of what good looks like in all that we do in our international operations and will ensure we push to achieve and exceed these targets daily through change management, leadership, being hands on and through strong communication skills. The role will also understand best in class franchising models to build our own brand equity, manage these relationships through contracted and relationship governance and selecting the right partners for our objectives. Working with the Director of Restaurants & Kitchens and Director of International Business Development & Communications you will drive commercial deals and opportunities of new brands and concepts into our spaces.

About You

You will be an experienced operations manager, having previously:

  • Managed multiple locations of restaurants before including overseas for a number of years, we are seeking want a well versed operations manager with a lot of experience.
  • Been involved in contracting of franchises before so you understanding the relationships, commercials and contracting required to protect a brand.
  • Managed relationships and stakeholder relations to manage the brand.
  • Led best in class reporting on how these relationships are managed and contracted.
  • Led a strategy understanding how to plan and articulate this to a wide community.
  • Led and developed teams providing regular feedback ensuring everyone has a robust development plan and SMART objectives which they are regularly measured against.

You will have experience to bring to our team in franchise management, long term management of various different operating models locally and internationally, proven record of delivering on projects and commercial results, developed and interpreted goals and objectives into a tactical and long term strategy to be successful in the role. Ideally, you will have experience working across multiple countries and time zones. Please note, this person in this role will have be expected to travel internationally as required.
