We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Digital Designer to join one of the world’s biggest retail brands as part of the in-house creative team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Creative Team Lead and working with the Digital Design team you’ll be populating, building and designing visual content for Harrods.com to support our luxury product offering, online editorial and campaigns.

The role will involve working closely with other designers using the Harrods.com CMS to ensure our site reflects our brand values, as well as aligning to our creative guidelines.

As a Junior Digital Designer, you will be supporting the day-to-day creation of assets and content population of Harrods.com.

About You

You will be an individual who is hands on and demonstrates initiative in a multitude of areas. You will have excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail, and will be able to learn and grow within the department, interact well with colleagues, and most importantly be a team player.  

As a Junior Digital Designer, you will get to grips quickly with the Harrods.com CMS and be systematic in building and refreshing content. You will be open to feedback, and will ensure deadlines are met and projects are complete to the highest standards. Above all, you will have an enthusiasm for digital design within a luxury ecommerce business and experience of a mobile-first approach

You will also:

  • Be fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Some experience of Sketch is desirable.
  • Previous experience with a Content Management System is ideal, as well as working with responsive websites.
  • Be confident in working to the tight deadlines and demands of a digital content workflow.
  • A passion for design is important as well as a keen eye for typography and contemporary design.
