Restaurant Manager

Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK and we are proud to announce this wonderful opportunity to join our new Sushi restaurant, in partnership with 3 Michelin starred chef, Masayoshi Takayama of Masa. You will be joining a passionate, supportive, and award-winning Michelin standard dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About the Role

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Restaurant Manager will have a 360 degree scope of all commercials for the restaurant operation and is responsible for managing the restaurant areas that sit within the Masa space.

As a Restaurant Manager, you’ll be leading the operational excellence of the business and their team in a manner that will ensure that all parties’ expected standards are maintained at all times delivering a world class restaurant experience. You’ll also be responsible  for  the  consistent delivery  of  the  restaurants  sales,  while  ensuring  that  profit  targets  are  achieved  and  maximised. 

About You

Having great experience in high end Japanese or sushi restaurant is not essential but would be advantageous. You will have strong and demonstrable experience of leading world class and/or exceptional restaurant environments, managing the entire lifecycle including sales and profits, service and standards, the marketing and profile of the restaurant and leadership of the teams that sit under you. 

You will bring with you passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the hospitality industry. You are an excellent communicator; with customers, operational teams, management and all other stakeholders gaining trust and confidence. You have a proven track record of leading and coaching your teams to deliver whilst also having experience of owning and delivering on the long term strategic vision and the capability of the restaurant in line with growth and change, implementing appropriate frameworks.
