We are recruiting for a brand new role here at Harrods for a Project Manager to join the Restaurants and Kitchens team.
This role supports our evolving and dynamic business needs: with over 27 outlets in our Knightsbridge store as well as innovative collaborations with leading superbrands, we are continuing to invest in the latest industry innovations to enhance our brands and customers needs.
About the Role
Our team is looking for a strong, dynamic and fresh thinking Project Manager, who is able to lead both our internal and external teams to ensure efficient and timely deliver of our Harrods Restaurants & Kitchens Projects.
Within this role, you will be responsible for managing the full project life cycle of medium and large hospitality projects from initiation and analysis to design, build and implementation.
Your duties will include:
- Producing plans, documentation, and the provision of guidance for project team.
- Ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- The assembly of multidisciplinary project teams to deliver specific projects.
- Overseeing the production of project specifications and agreement of project scopes.
- Identifying, assessing and managing risks and issues to the success of the project, escalating exceptions as appropriate.
- Producing and communicating clear and accurate progress reports for all projects in line with Governance & Reporting Calendar.
About You
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading projects, with a track record of delivering both medium and large scale projects in the hospitality industry. You will be able to demonstrate your success in delivering said projects by meeting deadlines, staying within budget & ensuring a high quality of output.
Having delivered projects for a Restaurant & Kitchens business, you will be well versed in all stages of the lifecycle: Initiation, Analysis, Design, Build and Implementation - as well as associated methods and tools.
The ideal candidate will also:
- Hold a formal Project Management qualification E.G Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP
- Be technically minded with a strong commercial focus.
- Possess a charismatic, personable approach: able to build strong and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Have delivery experience using Agile & planning tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Be experienced in change management.
