We are looking for an organised and process-driven Stock Controller for our By Appointment department.

By Appointment is an exclusive personal shopping service that gives our most valued customers a stress-free shopping experience. As products are requested from all areas of the store, it is vital that each item is sourced, obtained, and if necessary returned, as quickly as possible.

You will be a team player, enthusiastically working with your team to achieve group KPIs and improve customer service. As you will be liaising with employees from all over the business, you must have the confidence and diplomacy to manage expectations and be firm when necessary.

With your proactive nature, you will deal calmly with even the most demanding requests, using your excellent problem-solving skills to gauge how they can be fulfilled. You will relish the opportunity to suggest and implement innovate new strategies to increase efficiency.

To be successful, you must be highly computer literate – knowledge of SAP, InTouch, and BI would be beneficial, while the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel – will be essential in this role. You must also have stock-control experience within a high-volume department and be comfortable performing stock-takes.

NB – You must be able to work irregular hours when required (for example, when a high-profile client wishes to shop out of normal opening hours).
