Our Communications team is looking for a Talent Executive to support the PR team in the delivery of cross-divisional talent strategies. This position will focus on Harrods brand campaigns, key brand partnerships and industry focal moments.
About the Role
As the Talent Executive, you will report into the PR Manager and be part of the broader Communications and Brand Experience department. A large part of your role will involve using and nurturing your strong connections in the industry across all types of talent to the benefit of the business.
Managing all talent requirements for cross-divisional photoshoot and events, both for Harrods owned campaigns, and brand partnerships, you will develop, plan and create influencer activations both in the UK and internationally. With this, you will be ensuring Harrods’ influencer strategy is up to date with the latest trends, innovations and channels, as well as supporting on ROI and measurement of individual influencer campaigns and yearly reviews. You will maintain a broad network contacts across influencers, socialites, celebrities and agencies as well as brand partners and manage talent gifting projects from start to finish, including recipient lists, address management, gift sourcing and reporting.
As the Talent Executive, you will be the hub of knowledge in regard to talent selection and industry benchmarking, by proactively providing the senior team with talent recommendations and initiatives to drive Harrods’ engagement, earned media and cultural relevance.
In addition, you will -
- Work closely and collaboratively with wider Brand Experience Division on multi-pronged campaign strategies and responses, work with the PR Manager & PR Executives to ensure all project documentation, reports and trackers are current and representative of aligned metrics.
- Analyse the industry and trends through social media, traditional media and monitoring platforms and maintaining a PR and talent calendar.
- Work with the PR Manager to ensure negotiations confirm required deliverables for a market-balanced rate and contracts are managed closely.
- Creating meeting agendas, as well as taking and distributing meeting notes within a timely matter.
About You
With an in-depth knowledge of the communications industry, including the developing social media landscape, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of Harrods’ Talent Strategy across online and offline channels, both earned and owned. You will also be across the most up-to-date innovations in the digital influencer landscape, supporting the team in the use of influencer and content creation for PR & Marketing campaigns.
You will also –
- Be available for weekend, early morning & evening photoshoots and some evenings as deemed appropriate by the business.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Bring experience and skills in liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication is maintained across the board.
- Have excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and planning skills as well as strong knowledge and understanding of PR channels, influencer relations and social media.
