The role of the Private Shopping Assistant is to support our team of Private Client Managers (PCM’s), in the delivery of exceptional service to our most loyal clients. Our Client facing Private Shopping team are critical to achieving this ambition.

Delivering world class service to Harrods’ most loyal clients and consistently exceeding their expectations is in our DNA. It goes without saying that our clients expect simplicity, ease, pace and most importantly personalised service, tailored to their needs, when they visit us. That’s where the role of Private Shopping Assistant comes in.

As a Private Shopping Manager you will work in partnership with the Client Relationship Manager for your portfolio of clients to identify sales and growth opportunities and you’ll translate that into clear actions and focus for your team.

As a Private Shopper you will build deep authentic relationships with your portfolio of clients, anticipating their needs before they do. You’ll pair this with a global awareness of luxury trends and product developments and use your insight to make tailored recommendations. This will enable you to grow client spend in a genuine and value adding sales through service way – whilst building loyalty and advocacy for the Private Shopping service.

The Client Experience Assistant is responsible for offering a seamless and unrivalled customer journey, achieved the moment our clients walk through our doors, through personalised attention, intuitive and anticipatory service and in-depth knowledge of the breadth of Harrods services.

As Client Experience Assistant, your ability to thrive under pressure and work with efficiency and pace to successfully manage all customer expectations will be unmatched. Remaining calm and composed, you will deal with challenging situations confidently and in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary. You must be a fast learner, as you will need to quickly develop a full understanding of Private Shopping and be able to communicate this to a client when asked.
