Posting date: 18/10/22

In Conversation With: Kelvin Okafor

Here at Harrods, we embrace a broad definition of diversity, from gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability, background and experience. Our goal is to increase representation to reflect our customers and the global marketplace we operate in.

As part of National Inclusion Week and Black History Month we caught up with the incredibly talented Kelvin Okafor.

Around the age of 8, Kelvin vividly remembers having a love and strong fascination for drawing with pencils. He found the instrument to be a humble one and would often use the expression ‘aliveness’ to describe its technical and sentimental value. In this exclusive interview for Harrods, Kelvin shares a little bit about growing up Nigerian, living in London and having a passion for Art.
