Assistant Manager - H Beauty

By Launching our new ‘H Beauty’ store, Harrods is bringing more magic, innovation and theatre to the beauty market. With H beauty, we will meet a demand from beauty customers for experiential retail that allows them to creatively engage with and learn more about the beauty products they are purchasing, while enjoying a fun and creative retail environment. H beauty will extend our Harrods beauty offering, beyond the Knightsbridge store to new customers.

To support this new concept and new location, we are looking for ambitious Assistant Managers to help us bring the magic of Harrods to life. As an Assistant Manager you will drive consistent delivery of the retail, client and employee engagement strategy to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand. With your leadership and guidance, our teams will become true Retail superheroes.

About you.

With your ideas and energy, you will thrive in this brand-new concept for Harrods; it’s important you can make a quick impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Sales Manager and inspire the team to deliver exceptional sales and service by flexing between coaching and directive management as appropriate.
• Responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in the development of talent within the team.
• Constantly monitor the standard of service to the customer by the team to ensure that it is of the required standard.
• Support the Sales Manager in managing the company KPI’s in line with company procedures to achieve targets as well as all back of house operations and visual merchandising
• Build effective working relationships with support functions including buying, distribution, visual merchandising and HR.
