Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. Through our Front of House staff, we drive ourselves and inspire others to always push for more and to create moments of magic for our customers.

We are now looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Front of House team to elevate the dining experience of our guests.

 

About the Role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports into the Restaurant Manager and will have a 360 degree scope of all commercials for the restaurant operation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of individuals and overseeing the day-to-day operations to consistently deliver exceptional service & standards, whilst demonstrating strong people skills and a fully flexible approach to the role whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand and values.

Having a huge focus on operational excellence, the role’s key attribute is delivering a world class restaurant experience. The role will be involved and feed into the long term vision of the restaurant and all its commercials, be able to set and follow plans, work with and influence key stakeholders within the restaurant, bar and Harrods to support the growth and change.


About You

You’ll have a strong track record of hospitality management experience, preferably with a prestigious hotel or high-end restaurant. Having a great knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential. You’ll have great organizational skills and a strong customer focus in everything you do. You’ll have exceptional people management skills to coach and direct the team, with the ability to build effective working relationships with support functions including Buying, Supply, Distribution, IT and HR. A keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach is a must.
