About You

We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated beauty writer to join our Creative Content team to create and craft copy across a range of digital channels.

An inventive storyteller at heart, you must also have a good sense of consumer behaviour and how to create successful content for a retail customer. You will have expert product knowledge and be bursting with ideas on how to invigorate perennial shopping stories and push the boundaries of trade-first editorial stories.

As the beauty writer, you will create digital editorial for Style Notes and product pages, manage and produce site-wide copy, social media copy and digital marketing copy that supports our beauty division.

As an integral member to a team that is truly omnichannel, covering all digital and print platforms, you will also support on print copy where relevant, and other content creation to help to bring to life the stories we want to tell.

Your work will always be:

  • Trading relevant – whether promoting e-commerce messages, in-store activations or product offering
  • Inspiring and engaging – in order to capture the attention of an option-rich digital customer
  • On brand – reflecting the values and tone of voice of Harrods at all times

What to Expect

  • Management of beauty emails from brief to content creation
  • Ideating and creating social-first content for all platforms including Weibo and WeChat
  • Managing and producing site copy for website updates, key internal beauty moments, SEO projects and display advertising
  • Managing the beauty in-store service pages, ensuring all content is up-to-date
  • Supporting the Beauty Editor in the creation of editorial for Style Notes, Harrods campaigns, brand partnerships and product pages

  • Maintaining good relationships with the Online Trading team to keep on top of trading priorities
  • Maintaining strong industry relationships with relevant brands
  • Represent the beauty team at relevant meetings

·      Support projects within the business with in-depth knowledge of your subject

  • General support for the Beauty Editor and Beauty Editorial Director
