About You 

With great communication, IT and organisational skills, you will pro-actively ensure all building maintenance requests are received and delegated appropriately, overseeing the daily activity of your team to maintain productivity across Store Operations.  You may be required to step in on occasion, so you should have multi-disciplined experience of working within the building trade. You'll provide comprehensive management to your team and ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will also be responsible for end to end project management within the function and would benefit from holding a similar position in a retail, high end or supplier-side environment in accounts management, or with experience in running a business.

What to Expect

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to ;

  • Operating the help desk, utilizing customer feedback and management direction in order to prioritise and proactively manage the Maintenance operation, strategically assigning daily tasks to team members
  • Identifying, designing and managing both capital and operational projects around the Harrods sites (with full P&L accountability for multiple budgets)
  • Providing hands-on management of the day and night teams to ensure set SLAs and KPIs are achieved, identifying and initiating corrective action where required
  • Regularly reporting on monthly performance and proving comprehensive management to your team

You’ll be accustomed to working in a live site environment and take a health and safety conscious approach to your day to day working activities. Working flexibly over 5 days out of 7, you will also be available to work on weekends.

What is Important?

Effective prioritization and project management skills are pivotal to the success of this role. You will keep the team’s workload flowing whilst implementing both project and operation maintenance works, therefore you will need to be self-motivated and leave no task unaccounted for.
