We are looking for a Content Operations Executive to join our dynamic Creative Operations team here at Harrods. The Content Operations Executive is responsible for reporting across all digital content, overseeing the content calendar and providing administrative content support.

As we celebrate this momentous anniversary year, now more than ever, it’s an exciting time to join the Harrods Team. Whether you’re a recent school, college or university leaver, or you’re looking to restart your career in an exciting new field, at Harrods we firmly believe in offering exciting career opportunities.

About the Role

The Content Operations Executive will be the key in supporting scheduling content delivery for .com, email and the Harrods app. By regularly generating reports for our web and app homepages and various campaigns, the Content Operations Executive provides vital insights and recommendations to enhance content effectiveness using our analytical tools (Google Analytics and ContentSquare).

With visibility over the entire content calendar, the Content Operations Executive effectively manages the calendar for our business as usual and brand partnerships initiatives, ensuring seamless and timely execution of content-related tasks. This role assists our Creative Managers in pulling reports for project wash-up documentation, as well as ensuring the correct analytics are set up at the beginning of the project, whilst liaising with teams to gather resource requirements and timelines, and interpreting data in a content-focused manner.

The Content Operations Executive engages in basic content creation tasks, including administrative copywriting for .com, uploading terms and conditions, and supporting the editorial team in content development to enhance storytelling capabilities.

About You

You will be confident in content operations, with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously. You’ll be confident tracking, analysing and reporting on content performance, with strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into actionable content strategy.

You’ll also –

  • Be comfortable using Google Analytics (ContentSquare experience is advantageous, but not essential)
  • Have experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage and update website content effectively
  • Be organised and efficient, ensuring timely delivery of content projects and adherence to schedules
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing effective coordination across teams and stakeholder relationships
