Paying close attention to detail, the Copywriter writes succinct, accurate and commercially focused product descriptions, highlighting key features to engage the harrods.com customer.
About us
Based at our in-house studio on City Road, the Copywriter writes up to 30 product descriptions a day across all of our luxury categories – fashion, accessories, childrenswear, home, food and more – and fills out product attributes correctly to ensure a great customer shopping experience.
About you
You will have at least 1 year of experience in product copywriting or similar. Act as a guardian for the harrods.com tone of voice, and are expected to bring a faultless level of spelling and grammar and an extensive knowledge of terminology across all categories.
The Copywriter also acts as a mentor for up to 2 other writers, sub-editing daily copy and providing feedback and support, training new starters and assisting with recruitment. You will also have experience with a CMS.
There is also the opportunity to write additional copy in the form of brand page and product landing page copy.
