Creative Team Lead (12 month FTC)

We are looking for a Creative Team Lead to join our ecommerce team on a 12 month FTC (maternity cover). You’ll oversee all creative team output across the Projects, BAU and Campaign teams to ensure creative consistency and quality.

The role requires organisation, leadership, stakeholder management, great attention to detail and accuracy. You’ll have strong communication skills and be happy to liaise with lots of different departments across the business as well as drive project ideation and conceptual development based on creative and design direction.

As well as supporting a team of designers, you will also be expected to continue to be hands on, to drive engaging creative solutions from conception to production across a wide range of areas as well as help mentoring and inspiring junior members of the team.

You will be digitally savvy and have relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within high end retail, be passionate about delivering creative solutions that deliver for both the user and the business and proven experience in user design in an ecommerce/retail environment.

Your experience will also include the following:

• An understanding and appreciation of designing to accessibility and usability standards
• Digital savvy - you are completely up to date with current trends within the digital space and have experience of Interface design and an understanding of IA
• Fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash (with understanding of integrating video content) ImageReady and Indesign. AfterEffects and 3D rendering applications a plus
• Knowledge of the HTML process, structural site limitations, web development
• Proven experience in user design in an ecommerce / retail environment
• Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications
• Experience of managing teams
