Our Distribution team in Trevor Square are now looking for a Delivery Services Advisor to join them. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our customers’ deliveries are received on time and any queries are handled with care and efficiency. You’ll be at the centre of communication between couriers, shopfloor teams and our wider partners, making sure every delivery experience reflects the exceptional service Harrods is known for. 

About the Role 
 

As a Delivery Services Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring courier service levels, ensuring every delivery is made on time and any issues are swiftly resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. You will manage courier queries, special delivery requests and daily inboxes while maintaining accurate records and systems. Building trusted relationships across the shopfloor, dispatch operations and external partners will be key to your success. 
 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Handling courier queries and responding promptly to information requests. 
  • Monitoring courier performance to ensure service excellence. 
  • Managing special and same-day deliveries through to completion. 
  • Keeping the shopfloor updated on customer deliveries and courier developments. 
  • Building strong working relationships internally and externally. 
  • Maintaining and updating delivery pricing in dispatch systems. 
  • Managing paperwork and ensuring service reports are actioned efficiently. 

About You 
 

You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. With a proactive and flexible approach, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key. 
 

You will also: 

  • Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Be confident using PC systems and managing multiple email inboxes. 
  • Show the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering outstanding customer service. 
  • Be a team player who takes pride in delivering results.
