Scheme Structure

As a Graduate joining Harrods, you will spend the first 6 months within our retail team in Knightsbridge, giving you an insight into our shop floor functions and a true understanding of our business. Following your time in retail, you will then spend 9 months immersed within the different teams that make up our Distribution business. During this time, you will be given a comprehensive and broad-ranging overview of our Distribution and supply chain operations.

Moving around departments, you will gain exposure to Pre-Retail, Warehousing, Store Distribution/Receiving, Harrods Direct Fulfilment, Knightsbridge Dispatch and our Big Ticket Operation, as well as Transport.  You must be prepared to work between both the store in Knightsbridge and our Distribution Centre in Thatcham, West Berkshire, for the duration of the Graduate Scheme. Following completion of the Graduate Scheme, you will be based at our Thatcham Distribution Centre in your role with Harrods.

The Application Process

We want to give you an insight into our Distribution team at Harrods and what you can expect from our Distribution Graduate Scheme before joining. The application process will consist of:

• An online application form
• If successful, you will then be invited to complete a short video interview which can be completed at a time convenient for you
• Following a successful video interview, you will then be invited to a full-day Assessment Centre at our Thatcham Distribution Centre which will be held in March 2019. The Assessment Centre will include a face-to-face interview with some of our Distribution managers, a group exercise and a presentation exercise, as well as a tour of our Distribution Centre.
