The EDI Manager is the first point of contact for all internal and external customer queries related to EDI processing. You’ll be responsible for the overall day to day co-ordination, implementation, and communication of the Company’s EDI strategies and initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Directors, Buyers, Vendors, and other internal personnel to ensure current EDI production is maintained, exceptions are communicated to the appropriate parties and new requests are implemented.

You’ll build closer vendor partnerships, reduce manual handling of data, improve the efficiency & timelines of the ordering & supply chain processes, improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance data accuracy, contribute to better in stock positions, improve cash flow management and can add to the company’s competitive advantage. You’ll also provide Operational and General support to the Merchandise Control Director and Buying Community by running company high level exception and ad hoc reporting for the ordering process, sales, promotions, price changes and OTB.

About you

You’ll have proven record withing merchandising or data analysis. You’ll have previous experience running and analysing reports to evaluate performance managing the EDI Admin. You’ll have a great knowledge about sale price change exception reporting, sale order reporting, data integrity, reports and ad hoc requests. You’ll be training Vendors, Buying Community and Distribution Staff so they understand how EDI works.

More specifically, we’re looking for someone with:

  • High level of organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to research and resolve complex transaction errors.
  • Commercial skills and inquisitive, analytical mind.
  • Good communicator across all levels of the business.
