The Learning Advisor will support the L&D team to deliver on their strategic goals and own BAU management of our learning interventions. The role offers full involvement in learning and development operational tasks, from LMS (Workday Learning) governance and management, to co-ordinating L&D projects, through to co-designing learning in conjunction with the team, to facilitating sessions and evaluating programmes.

As a Learning Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for L&D, and manage general queries via our HR system. You will champion our learning initiatives and identity opportunities to maximise learning. Our Learning Advisor will also support the team assisting with the deliver of our weekly ‘Welcome’ induction, as well as supporting our weekly ‘Welcome Hub’ for all new starters. This also includes sending communications/calendar invitations, and reporting on attendance and other relevant metrics throughout the day.

This is a hybrid role that will be working 2-3 days from our office.

About us

As a business, we pride ourselves on being exceptional every day. This means we need to give colleagues the tools they need to excel in their roles and deliver the Art of the Possible. The Learning and Development (L&D) team is here to support our colleagues personal and professional development. And in doing so, help our people – and Harrods – go from strength to strength. We strive to provide opportunities for all our colleagues to learn and grow and equip them with the skills needed for both today and the future.

About you

You’ll have a passion for helping people to learn and develop. You will have experience in digital platform functionality, capability and approach, along with experience in facilitating learning and training. Further to this, you will have a natural flair for building relationships and strong stakeholder management skills. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, creative and willing to roll their sleeves to support the business. It would be desirable if you have an LMS system experience and Workday experience.

Our promise to you

Culturally, we value difference and individuality. Your ideas and energy are going to shape every aspect of our people success in your division, but we’re not going to dictate how you achieve these results. Rather, we will give you the freedom to imprint your operating style on the role and help us create a remarkable, magical and memorable business for our customers.

As well as the support of a highly respected team of HR experts, you will find our business transformation creates a stimulating day-to-day environment and opens up a wealth of long-term career potential. Alongside this, you can look forward to an excellent package of benefits. This includes a company pension, flexible working, 25 days’ holiday and your birthday off, up to 33% in-store discount and a season ticket loan.
