About You

You are a proven Merchandiser with experience within a multi-channel retail environment.  A motivational leader, you pride yourself on building great relationships with your team and key stakeholders, both internal and external. You are efficient, analytical and an optimiser, always aiming to exceed targets. You will play a key role in shaping of departmental plans so a commercial mind-set and a strategic approach are vital. Please note this opportunity is a 12 month fixed term contract. 

What to Expect

  • Working towards achieving divisional KPI’s- top-line sales, margin and OTB.

  • Have a solid understanding of store’s budgeting schedule, current forecast and growth requirements

  • Responsible for planning sales, stocks, margins and OTB based on historical performance and reflective of agreed strategy

  • Understand and track brand level OTB / sales plans and the parameters involved in building these

  • Responsible for producing brand level option planners highlighting opportunities and risks to relevant stakeholders

  • Carry out mid-season reviews to offer accurate and valuable analysis to make strategic decisions for future season plans

  • Always analysing performance and reforecasting in-season performance against plan, taking action in order to optimise KPIs

  • Manage and deliver weekly trade reports in accurate and timely manner. Review and manage top line markdown performance and strategy

  • Monitor aged stock position and implement POAs on reducing terminal stock
