Payroll Administrator

By reporting into the Lead Payroll Administrator, you’ll provide an efficient and professional payroll service. You’ll ensure that the payroll is processed in accordance with payroll cut-off dates and deadlines. You’ll be responsible for salary amendments, recalculation, absence processing and statutory payments. In this role, you’ll be importing and amending tax code information as well as producing Payslips and P45’s. Also, you’ll be responsible for the administration of company benefits and pension scheme, including new members and leavers. As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll develop relationships with managers around the business and support the business with payroll process queries by understanding the process between HR & Payroll.

About you.

With a good attention to detail and a methodological approach to work, you’ll be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. You’ll have excellent numerical skills, an ability to calculate manual payments and a good knowledge of tax and national insurance. You’ll have all round payroll experience with minimum 1 year in a similar role. You’ll have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is essential, as well as being a professional team player and self-motivator. Knowledge about Resourcelink system, Workday and Cognos reporting is advantageous.
