Senior IT Project Manager - Product & Supply Chain

Are you a master organiser with strong interpersonal skills?

We are seeking a strong, dynamic and fresh thinking Senior IT Project Manager who will ensure the delivery of Harrod’s Product, Distribution and Supply Chain projects- including projects that enable the correct stock to be delivered to the correct location in the store from our Distribution Centre - allowing increased efficiency of resupply whilst minimising stock held on the shop floor. 

The role will provide project management expertise and lead internal and external teams from a variety of technical & business disciplines to deliver new systems and functionality to the business. This will not only involve the production of detailed plans and project documentation but also continual leadership of the project team through the provision of support and guidance. 

Ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project is essential, as are excellent change management skills.  Knowing who to engage with and when, to ensure the project stays on track at all times is vital.

The Senior IT Project Manager’s prime responsibility is to ensure that all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are set and met, and that all benefits are fully realised from the implementation of the change.  Successful delivery will be achieved through adapting both agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

The Senior IT Project Manager will bring experience in ensuring assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and allocated projects will involve close supplier management of key third parties such as SAP, Westernacher, Schaefer, JDA and others.  Key stakeholders will include, but are not limited to, Distribution, IT, Product Management, Merchandising, Finance and.

Please be advised this is an IT role and will require knowledge of distribution, supply chain and IT retail infrastructure.
