We are looking for a Social Media Project Manager to join our dynamic Creative Content team here at Harrods, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering captivating content across various Social Media channels.

With eight active accounts and more on the horizon, this is your opportunity to contribute to a constantly evolving environment that serves as a vital communication channel to both existing and prospective customers.

About the Role

As our Social Media Project Manager, you’ll spearhead the delivery of engaging stories and Digital Marketing assets across all social media platforms. From conceptualisation to publishing, you’ll ensure seamless project execution, collaborating closely with the Central Content team, Marketing, Partnerships, and Digital Marketing teams. You will be managing two project coordinators workloads, ensuring that they are delivering to brief and on-time. Occasionally, you will need to work evenings and weekends for events and corporate communications, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to achieving results.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Social Media Strategy Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintaining regular communication with Project Managers across the department on projects.
  • Successfully completing projects within designated timeframes and budgets.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of business direction and align projects accordingly.
  • Traffic management of work within the team and assigning projects to appropriate designer and copy teams.
  • Managing delivery of social media elements of cross-channel projects from briefing, through production and delivery.
  • Ensure day-to-day communication is managed smoothly between Creative and the rest of the business
  • Uploading of content to our digital asset management system.
  • Managing the approval process via our online system.

This role will require some occasional evening and weekend work when necessary for events and corporate communications.

About You

As a Social Media Project Manager, you will have exceptional organisational skills, integrity and enthusiasm for multitasking. You will possess the ability to motivate, inspire and lead teams collaboratively.

Your strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure while prioritising tasks will be crucial. Additionally, you will excel in problem-solving and analytical thinking. The ability to manage the day-to-day while being able to plan and forecast longer term is essential in this role. Project management or workflow management experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
