Our Watches operation is an integral part of Fine Watches and Jewellery here at Harrods and we are looking for a passionate Stock Controller to work with our Fine Watches Aftercare team. 

About the Role

Our Stock Controllers are responsible for overseeing and controlling the end-to-end stock journey within Fine Watches, ensuring the efficient and accurate  flow  of  all  own-bought  goods  in  and  out  of  the  department. This  will  include  accurate  and timely  verification  of  all  deliveries,  and  thorough  quality  control,  to  ensure  the  right  product  is  in  the right place at the right time, in order to enhance the customer journey.

In addition to this you will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Stock Operative with keeping the Fine Watches vault tidy and clean, adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Scheduling and leading stocktakes and PI as required, coordinating all communication with Inventory and Audit teams and completing variance reports.
  • Complete weekly review of negatives, invalids and SLoc within agreed SLA, actioning any relevant investigations and system moves, and escalating to Team Manager as appropriate
  • Investigate and resolve all stock-related discrepancies, escalating to Team Manager as appropriate 
  • Support the Stock Operative with best practice quality control across all stock deliveries Complete condition reports for all stock transfers in and out of the department
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements with business stakeholders across RTV, photoshoots and in-store events

About You

You will be passionate about watches with experience in stock management. You will also be able to  develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers alike, whilst being able to handle a wide range of responsibilities. 

You will also be:

  • Proficient in SAP, Excel, Outlook and general Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task
  • Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance
  • Attention to detail whilst working under tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable to converse and raise issues with Senior Managers and internal stakeholders
