About You

You will be a seasoned and credible talent and development professional with specialist expertise in developing a high performance culture, delivering talent planning and developing future talent. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, calm and resilient in your work with a drive to deliver excellence. You’ll be accustomed to working with business leaders on their succession planning, performance and talent development initiatives with the future business success as your goal. You’ll have experience driving talent strategy and developing an approach to critical roles, specialist talent and supporting its design to ensure maximum engagement and tangible results.

 

What to Expect

In this role you will partner with the HR Business Partners and department leaders to define, design and embed talent identification tools, deliver the annual talent review and build development programmes to enable the on-going improvement of high-quality development to Harrods’ colleagues. You’ll lead and own our talent projects as well as regular talent initiatives such as our talent review process, succession planning, talent analytics and talent development. Your objectives will be to increase the transparency of career progression at Harrods, and to develop the tool to identify and deliver talent to propel the overall business success as a result of our people. Finally, you’ll set the agenda on our approach to performance management, building an up to date approach from the foundations.
