Our Distribution Repack team are now looking for a Team Leader to support the Distribution function in our state-of-the-art hub in Thatcham.

About The Role  

As a Repack Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse team. You will be responsible for ensuring a productive and efficient workforce, maintaining high standards of performance, and promoting a positive and productive culture within the team.


In this role, you will be responsible for:


•    Team Leadership: Serving as the first point of contact for warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal team performance.
•    Schedule Management: Monitoring staff breaks, ensuring they are taken at the designated times, and manage staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage.
•    Order Processing: Allocating responsibilities for picking and processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
•    Customer Focus: Demonstrating strong customer service when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
•    Task Prioritisation: Monitoring work output and prioritising tasks based on business demands, whilst taking proactive action to address issues.

About You  

You will possess strong organisational and time management skills, enabling you to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. A proactive problem-solving approach will be essential in addressing challenges efficiently. Your commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety will ensure the integrity of our operations. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in which you will use to facilitate productive collaboration within the team. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind.
