Dispatch Manager Nights

Our Knightsbridge based Dispatch team are looking for a Nightshift Dispatch Manager to support the ever growing dispatch function. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest packing standards and the timely delivery of all orders purchased in-store at Knightsbridge. 

About the Role 

The jobholder will be the first point of communication for the dispatch department between the hours of 11pm and 7am and is responsible for ensuring a productive team at all times.

Duties include – 

• Managing the smooth running of the dispatch department during the night shift, ensuring all orders are processed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.

• Supervise the nightshift team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of productivity and safety.

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, checking for accuracy in packaging and ensuring that all orders meet Harrods' high standards.

• Uphold warehouse safety regulations and ensure all activities comply with health and safety policies, including conducting regular safety audits and addressing any issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure seamless handovers, continuity of operations, and alignment with broader company goals.

• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse operations during the night shift.
