We are recruiting for an Account Executive to join our Corporate Service team, within our Partnerships Directorate.
This is a fixed term contract until July 2024.
About the Role
Our Partnerships team works with the world’s most prestigious brands, creating luxury campaigns and collaborative experiences across our multi-platform portfolio. Sitting within this team, our Corporate Service team work with our B2B partners to provide world class sales, service and product to our Harrods Corporate Customers – these can range from gift ideas to in store experiences.
The Account Executive will be a true ambassador for the Harrods brand: managing a portfolio of Corporate Accounts, you will drive incremental business for the relevant departments and services of Harrods to achieve agreed sales targets and business goals. You will identify opportunities to enhance sales, customer satisfaction and retention within your portfolio of customers – managing and maintaining all of their supplier agreements.
Your duties will also include:
- Supporting and solving problems for b2b clients by understanding and exceeding their expectations.
- Illustrating the value of Harrods' products and services to create growth opportunities; compile and analyse data to identify trends.
- Participating in brainstorming, team activities & meetings and client meetings; researching and assisting Seniors with the development of existing clients and new prospects.
- Onboarding new customers to the corporate CRM database completing KYC information and Due Diligence.
- Understanding and properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure prompt and efficient sales transactions and full compliance of order execution.
- Following up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and identify future opportunities. Accurately maintaining the Corporate CRM database of clients, prospects & sales opportunities (won & lost).
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in a B2B sales role, with a track record of delivering to targets whilst providing the best in class service to your clients. You will be an expert in the sales cycle, able to pipeline prospective customers and effectively match their requirements, in order to increase sales and retain business.
With comprehensive knowledge of luxury brands across all categories from Tech to Beauty to Fashion, Food & Wine, Homewares and Gift Cards – the ideal candidate will be passionate about the luxury industry. Your colleagues would describe you as both proactive and curious: using your market knowledge and analytical skills you will be able to pin point areas of opportunity for your clients before the identify these gaps themselves. Your clients will describe you as flexible, detail orientated and an excellent communicator – always going above and beyond to deliver.
You will also:
- Be an excellent relationship builder and negotiator.
- Have excellent knowledge of cultural etiquette in dealing with Harrods' global clientele.
- Be focused on Client retention and growth as well as generating new sales opportunities.
- Possess a positive outlook and a flexible and collaborative approach.
- Be experience in managing a Corporate CRM Database.
