Assistant Buyer

We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to help shape the future of our Men's Designer Collection across store, online, and airport channels.

About the Role

As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll support the Buyer in all aspects of the buying cycle, helping to curate a compelling product range that reflects customer demand, trend insights, and commercial strategy. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that spans product selection, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Buyer with product selection, quantifying orders, and maintaining accurate product records.
• Attending buying appointments and preparing materials for brand meetings across all channels.
• Managing in-season trading by analysing sales, negotiating re-orders, and driving stock performance.
• Building strong relationships with concession partners and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
• Coordinating PR, social media, and editorial submissions to support product launches and retail events.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You

You will be a commercially minded and detail-oriented individual with a passion for menswear and a strong understanding of the luxury retail landscape. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are confident working with data, and enjoy building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your proactive approach and organisational skills will ensure you stay ahead in a dynamic and evolving market.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in a buying role, ideally within luxury retail.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
