About the Role

As an Assistant Project Manager you will provide end-to-end project management for a range of Interior Architecture (IA) and FF&E projects, from initial concept through to completion. The role requires a strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and coordination across internal teams and external consultants or contractors. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while also supporting documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement. The role is highly collaborative and requires proactive problem-solving and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and issuing project briefs and deliverables for IA and FF&E projects
  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines and ensure adherence to internal milestones
  • Prepare accurate and referenced construction budget estimates for small IA projects
  • Attend and contribute to design team meetings; monitor progress against timeline and budget
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and Senior Management
  • Coordinate issuance of design information and deliverables in line with agreed programmes
  • Facilitate and document internal/external meetings with clarity and prompt communication
  • Follow up with stakeholders on agreed actions and report any issues affecting project scope
  • Manage on-site construction teams to meet programme expectations and quality standards
  • Support consultant and contractor onboarding and appointment documentation
  • Oversee project documentation accuracy, updates, and version control
  • Review information from consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors; respond to RFIs promptly

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role
