We are looking to recruit a Business Resilience Assistant Manager to join our Supply Chain Management team for a 4 month Fixed term contract to be responsible for assisting in the management of the Business Continuity Programme at a company level.

The Business Resilience Function is responsible for the development & maintenance of the Business Continuity Management programme, ensuring the development and implementation of business continuity strategies to build a bigger and brighter future for our business.  This includes the implementation, maintenance and exercising of business continuity plans and crisis management plans to enable an effective response to any event that could seriously threaten the commercial viability, reputation, and business operations of the company.

About You

You will be a recognised subject matter expert, CBCI qualified or a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) with a minimum of 2 years business continuity management experience involving crisis management, emergency response and leadership.

You’ll have experience playing a stakeholder facing role, accustomed to partnering at all levels of seniority to ensure full collaboration across the business. You’ll have a good appreciation of IT strategies including disaster recovery capabilities. A natural leader, you will be self-driven and motivated, able to interface and influence with all levels within the organisation, and work with a team. You’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with practised presentation and facilitation skills.

What to expect

In this exciting role you will be responsible for business resilience strategy and associated tasks. This includes Business Impact Analysis and the continued upkeep, Business Continuity Plans and the continued upkeep, leading actions to achieve requirements identified during the aforementioned activities, establishing and clearly documenting recovery requirements and the Crisis Management Plan, clearly defined Continuity Policies and Controls including the implementation of regulations and testing of the Business Continuity program via walkthrough sessions.

You will ensure that all supply chain governance metrics are met and adhered to through working closely with the General Managers and their senior teams. You will work closely with the Data Protection Manager and the Data Protection Steward to review data processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for notifying the Data Protection Manager of any data breaches and in coordinating the investigation and resolution of any such breach.

You will help shape the strategic agenda for supply chain sustainability, providing relevant and timely internal and external analysis, identifying strategic opportunities and deliver recommendations to the Senior Leadership team. You will be responsible for developing the financial business case to support the recommendations and the high-level implementation plans for each of those recommendations that are taken forward. You will also represent Supply Chain on the Global Sustainability sub-committee.
