Chef de Rang

Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. Through our Front of House staff, we drive ourselves and inspire others to always push for more and to create moments of magic for our customers.

We are looking for a Chef de Rang to join our passionate, supportive, and successful Restaurant teams, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About The Role

The Chef de Rang role reports into the supervisor and Assistant Manager. You will have the accountability of areas within the restaurant ensuring it’s smooth running and going above and beyond for everyone who attends. You’ll be responsible for helping the business and the team in a manner that will ensure that all parties’ expected standards are maintained at all times. The role will have a huge focus on operational excellence by delivering a world class restaurant experience.

About You 

You will have worked in a senior waiter/waitress position previously, understanding the level of service that is expected in a fine dining environment.  

You are an excellent communicator and you can motivate your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation maintaining company standards at all times. You have excellent organisational skills, customer service focused and able to work at pace whilst remaining calm and self-assured at all times.

In joining the Harrods Team, you will receive:  

• The Chef De Rang position offers a salary package of up to £33,126.00 per annum* (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge) 
• Set contracted hours: Full time role, 39 hours, 5 days a week – paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of 1.5 p/h
