We are looking for a Concessions Finance Assistant to join our Finance team here at Harrods. You will be  responsible  for  controlling  the invoicing and reconciliation process for  our concession partners to ensure that they are paid accurately and on time.

About The Role


As the Concessions Finance Assistant you will be responsible for the prompt and accurate preparation of the concession self-billing invoices, including all relevant back up documents, to a very strict deadline on a monthly basis to ensure Harrods’ concession partners are paid accurately.


You will also;

  • Respond to any and all queries from internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support the onboarding of new concession partners including communication of finance requirements during meetings with brand and support
  • Provide accurate information to external auditors during interim, final and ad-hoc audits throughout the year
  • Support with requests for information from Harrods’ payment partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts in concession partners’ finance teams
  • Proactively consider the concession processes to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the operation and support the Concession Finance Manager with the development and implementation of these changes 

About You 
 

The ideal candidate will have an educational qualification in business or accounting/finance. It is the important for this role that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well  as  having  comfort  and  confidence  in  dealing  with  senior managers. Experience in accounting/finance is desirable. 


You will also:-

  • Have a strong customer service focus
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
  • Have impeccable time-management skills
  • Be a proficient MS Excel user
  • Be a problem solver, and curious by nature
  • Be passionate about a career in finance/accounting
