Our Performance Marketing team are looking for a Customer Communications Assistant to join our team at this exciting time. This role will support the email marketing campaign initiatives as well as the wider customer communications, business wide as well as play a key role in supporting our wider marketing strategy.

About you

You will be innovative, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving success with the wider digital marketing team. With an acutely analytical approach, you will confidently monitor channel performance and provide actionable insight to grow the channel.

You will be a skilled professional with experience working in campaign communications delivering company messaging across a variety of platforms with consistency and precision to ultimately maximise customer engagement. The successor of this role will have keen eye for detail and a passion for marking campaigns in the retail industry, capable of delivering seamless customer experience to deadline.

You must be a skilled communicator and be familiar with Campaign Management tools, IBM Watson or equivalent and SQL experience would be desirable. Capable of working on a diverse range of campaigns and communications, you will be comfortable managing deadlines and requirements in a fast paced environment.

What to expect

Our automation marketing team are a crucial part of the wider Brand Experience business. You will be responsible for supporting the day to day running and communications of the paid search and shopping campaigns. These communications will be delivered via email, direct mail, SMS or social media and will deliver against both customer and business requirements delivering the Harrods message, consistently and strategically.

You will be integral in evaluating the performance of the campaigns through IBM Watson reporting, to identify trends and opportunities for future planning, with a focus on maximising customer engagement at a divisional and topline level. You will produce the weekly marketing report and update all other reports as required. Support external agency with trade updates and attend campaign meetings, taking notes and providing updates on channel support for campaign.
