On-Boarding Data Management

  • Work to target on-board timelines set by the on-boarding manager and support brands through the process of integrating their data with Harrods
  • Clearly communicate Harrods data expectations of the brands and support brands through the process of on-boarding by testing and feeding back issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Communicate any setbacks and challenges to on-boarding manager and oversee project timeline expectations
  • Delegate workflow based on priorities to Concession data administrator
  • Ensure the data provided by concessions is in line with Harrods requirements and challenge concessions to meet the needs of the Harrods model
  • Build robust brand relationships, targeting relevant IT support contacts on the brands side
  • Feedback on capacity to onboarding manager to ensure realistic onboarding targets are set and can be achieved
  • Train Concession Data administrator on key onboarding tasks
  • Maintain and update Concession Onboarding tracker
  • Support with Brand Partner E-Concession onboards, key tasks will include supporting on initial data mapping and BAU updates to mapping and data

Principal Accountabilities

Business as Usual Tasks

  • Support with price change management around each sale period
  • Support with ad hoc concession deliveries into the warehouse
  • Manage new data, stock and price files from your allocated vendors
  • Support merchandise data team with any online publishing data related issues for concession articles
  • Oversee the maintenance and update of concession master data
  • Work with external web support team on any concession .com publishing challenges

Relationships

  • Build robust brand relationships, targeting relevant IT support contacts on the brands side
  • Build strong relationships across the business with key touch point teams such as IT, Buying, Merchandising, Operations, Online Trade, Retail and Legal
  • Share workflows and challenges with your immediate team to ensure the team in totality are working towards the same goal

Data Exchange Management

  • Track and report on the accuracy of concession data and success of file exchange
  • Organise meetings with concession brands on a quarterly basis to review issues in the day-to-day exchange of all data files including new product creation, stock and price
  • Proactively review ways of working to ensure the concession data model is the most efficient

Team Management & Development

  • Manage and develop Concession Data administrator
  • Support the business teams on understanding how the concession data model operates
  • Maintain and update “how to” documents for the business to support training sessions
  • Ensure that a “problem solving” culture exists within the team, focused on optimising performance based on operational streamlining and process efficiency
