Delivery Services Advisor Nights – Distribution

As part of our dynamic night shift team consisting of 8 staff members, plus an Assistant Manager and Team Leader, you will report to and collaborate with our team in the Admin & Delivery Services Team department.


This position works a 5 over 7, 11pm to 7am night shift pattern. 

About the Role

Our Knightsbridge Distribution team has a new and exciting opportunity for a Delivery Services Advisor to join the expanding team, ensuring all customer deliveries are received on-time and any queries arising from these deliveries are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Dealing with all Courier queries, answering to phone call and responding to email requests for information in a prompt manner.
  • To constantly monitor Courier service levels and to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and if there are any delivery issues these are resolved promptly and to the customers satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all special deliveries are dealt with and followed through until completion.
  • To liaise with the shopfloor regularly and keeping them updated with their customer deliveries.
  • To build and maintain relationships with the shopfloor and our external partners.
  • Ensuring all special and same day delivery pricing is updated onto the dispatch system daily and to chase the shopfloor where information is required to complete the delivery.
  • To ensure all paperwork is filed correctly and is easily accessible.
  • To manage the daily email inboxes and action the service reports sent by the courier companies.

About You

You will be someone who has strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills,. You will be a team player who can develop and maintain trusted relationships at all levels in and outside of the business. You will be flexible to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role and possess good PC literacy skills.
