The Demand Planner is responsible for managing the demand signal across a cluster of brands or categories for the purposes of driving the Supply Chain and supporting gross sales planning and execution. Delivering continuous improvements to business planning accuracy, enhancing customer service performance and optimising inventory holdings are the key deliverables of the role. You’ll develop accurate new launch forecasts including management of broader category impacts in conjunction with the Retail, Buying, and Trading departments.

You’ll assure the timely communication of on-going forecast changes to stakeholders in the Merchandising, Buying, Trading, and Supply Chain Teams. You’ll ensure forecast consistency, through the building of a consensus between the commercial forecasts, the financial trend and the sales history. In this role, you’ll drive resolution of forecast accuracy, customer service and inventory management exceptions, establishing clear root cause and leading appropriate actions to deliver sustainable improvement.

About you
You’ll have previous Demand Planning experience (JDA experience beneficial) and Work, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel knowledge. You’ll have a strong customer service-focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have good time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task. Having great written and verbal communication skills is essential, as you will build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
