Reporting to the Lead Digital Creative, this is a key member of the digital design team in producing creative content and digital editorial layouts across the Harrods app, Harrods social media and for digital creative briefs that come from the wider business.
They will work with the Lead Digital Creative and Head of Creative to present ideas for design concepts and will deliver asset creation to the necessary specifications and work on responsive app templates, as well as creative concepts for editorial storytelling. The role will involve art-working the fortnightly Harrods magazine into it’s digital app version and concepting and delivering Instagram stories designs.
Some attendance on shoots may be required to guide asset creation for social media.
Requirements
Have a great eye for typography, layouts and an attention to detail.
A good understanding of responsive design across mobile and tablet and previous experience working within a CMS.
Be digitally minded and have experience in approaching projects from a mobile-first, social-first perspective.
Be comfortable working to the tight deadlines and demands of a digital content workflow.
Have experience in editorial design and how to translate it to a digital platform.
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, inDesign and Illustrator, experience with Adobe AfterEffects useful.
