Sales Associate

Our Bakery team is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join us in the Food Hall. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary of £29,988 plus bonus, along with access to Harrods’ renowned benefits, including generous discounts across our stores and restaurants

About the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in creating a memorable bakery counter experience by confidently engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing product recommendations. You can expect each day to bring a new challenge and experience. Our teams are trusted to work with autonomy while ensuring exceptional visual merchandising standards, maintaining adequate stock levels and replenishment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and product recommendations
• Replenishing stock efficiently and maintaining accurate displays
• Upholding food hygiene and safety standards
• Support the promotion of the Harrods Rewards scheme and encourage customer feedback

This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You

With a strong passion to work with food, along with proven experience working in Food Retail or Hospitality, you will also have best in class experience in providing a memorable service to our clients.

You will also: 

• Have knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Have strong communication skills, and great attention to detail.
• Be ambitious and excited by your sales targets, striving to achieve our group mission whilst continually learning and developing to achieve more.
• Be self-motivated, with a naturally curious disposition, you will be keen to develop your product and industry knowledge.
