EDI Supplier Administrator

As Supplier Administrator you will aid in the smooth running of Harrods EDI processes. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) exists to create efficiencies in document handling by removing the need for manual process.

The role will serve as a conduit between various departments within Harrods and external goods Suppliers supporting the seamless integration of business documentation from initial Purchase Order through to final Invoicing.

About Us

Harrods’ IT comprises of a broad and tailored offering to support out our luxury store in Knightsbridge, London and our Harrods.com website, as well as our wider Retail, Sales, Buying, Distribution, Fulfilment and Corporate functions. Our IT offering is supported by a mix of in-house technology and 3rd party partnerships, our success if defined by our integrated and united approach to a full IT operation.

About You

You’ll have experience of business processes including, Procure to Pay (Order to Invoice), and data and document flow. You’ll have working knowledge of SAP including maintaining data and documents. If you’ve not got SAP experience you will have used another ERP system. You’ll have knowledge of EDI ((Electronic Data Interchange) ) process, including maintaining processes not setting up new ones. You’ll have a technical or a business background including managing documents and data. You’ll have stakeholder/ vendor management experience, and be good at relationship building.

You’ll have Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with excellent time-management and the ability and willingness to multi-task. You’ll be Confident working with Microsoft products including, Outlook, Word,  and especially Excel.
