We are looking for an Events Assistant to join the Events Team at Harrods. The focus of this role is to assist the Events team with all aspects of event operations, administration and on-site event support. Delivering projects within deadline and to Harrods standards.

About the Role

The Events Assistant will liaise between various stakeholders with a strong attention to detail and will ensure accurate record-keeping, the role varies depending on the events calendar and team objectives.

You will be responsible for preparing key event materials and attending events to ensure things run smoothly.

The typical responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Assisting with the day to day coordination and planning of the event calendar.
  • Support the Events Executives and Event Managers with onsite support of Event delivery.
  • Liaise with internal departments and stakeholder ensuring the event runs smoothly.
  • Preparing weekly meeting agendas with the guidance of the Events Team and following up by sending the minutes to all participants.
  • Late night and occasional weekend shifts required.

About You

You will be confident liaising between various stakeholders, with a strong attention to detail, communication and administrative experience and a keen interest in events and operational logistics.

We are looking for someone that has relevant experience to the role, including:

  • Current experience assisting senior management with event coordination.
  • Experience in researching and presenting information on potential suppliers, venues and agencies.
  • Circulating weekly & monthly event calendars to all relevant internal stakeholders.
