Fire Safety Officer

We are looking for a Fire Safety Officer to join our team in our iconic Knightsbridge store.  

As a fully co-operative member of your team, you will help to promote a positive fire health and safety culture within Harrods.

A fast-paced learner, you will gain and retain the sufficient skills and technical knowledge in order to apply them in the course of your duties. In emergency response situations, you will maintain the highest standards of customer service, ensuring a firm but friendly customer approach.

As a collaborative team player, you will maintain the continuity of your team’s workload and responsibilities, as well as communicating and liaising with all members of the Fire, Health & Safety department. This role will include patrolling the buildings and carrying out duties in a busy control room environment. Excellent focus and concentration will be required when conducting routine inspections, fire extinguisher maintenance, detection testing, and staff training.

This role necessitates a shift pattern that will include weekends, night work and bank holidays/public holidays as normal days of work. Additionally, extra hours and/or days of work may be required; therefore a flexible approach is essential.
