Leadership

  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership to inspire and nurture a high performing team by reviewing team’s capabilities, provide training and role modelling values
  • Open to deliver on other projects and tasks that are out of the scope of their role
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and identify opportunities for the team to add value through IT solutions and defining processes
  • Build and nurture key relationships across Harrods by influencing and persuading stakeholders across the business in IT, Distribution, Commercial, NPD, Technical as well as our supply base
  • Removing any blockers enabling delivery of projects and task by challenging the status quo and finding sustainable solutions
  • Provide support to the Director of Food & Restaurants & GMM of Food to establish the framework and detail of the directorate strategy.
  • Create accountability by founding KPIs (e.g. availability) through measurable metrics, scalable processes and creation of self service

Operations

  • Accountable for the delivery of the automation of administration processes across buying and supply chain through effective standard operating procedures by scoping self-service options, IT solutions and bringing software to the business that will save time and create efficiencies
  • Working closely with DMMs/NPD/Technical/Chefs/Suppliers/Distribution/Retail Management in order to deliver financial KPI’s including availability and wastage whilst maximising sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing and optimising the supply chain process within Harrods for all fresh and ambient products for the Food Halls, Kitchens and Restaurants, identifying cost and time savings for the wider teams as well as the commercial team
  • Work closely with IT to deliver change in the team through the development and scoping of  IT tools/efficient process to reduce time spent on admin tasks and the risk of errors not only for Food but across the business
  • Work closely with Merchandise Planner to analyse and optimise aged stock, accurate stock planning and OTB
  • Work closely with Distribution to reduce problem receive, optimise capacity within the warehouses and create efficiencies throughout the end to end flow of goods through the network
  • Be the escalation point for all queries from the Supply Coordinators in relation to product availability on the sales floor and in the Kitchens.
