The Sign Studio Graphic Designer will be reporting to the Team Leader within the Creative/Visual Directorate. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a fast paced and creative team, that work every day to make Harrods the most luxurious department store in the world. The Sign Studio Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing new creative design concepts for internal promotion communication, POS/signage, VM sites, and navigation. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects launched by Harrods or luxury brands to make their ideas come to life in-store.

At the Sign Studio, you will work closely with all the Visual Merchandising and Creative teams to launch products/projects and campaigns within all the departments, satellite stores and back of house areas. To achieve this you will always need to consider aesthetics, functionality and other requirements to make the designs unique whilst still being integrated within the Harrods core brand guidelines.

About you

You will be required to develop creative concepts and designs working alongside the Sign Studio Team Leader, Manager and business partners. The Designer will ensure Harrods design creative is innovative and fresh whilst maintaining a luxury aesthetic. You will also assist when required with the artwork development, preparation and fitting of high-quality POS/signage/graphics for Harrods. You should have a great eye for detail, excellent layout skills, great typography and retouching knowledge. Your technical skills should include Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. An understanding of print requirements for large graphics would also be of benefit.
