The Marketing Strategy Manager (MBA Intern) reports directly into the Marketing Director and supports the Marketing division by acting as a key point for driving strategic projects across the division.

Working closely with senior stakeholders within the Brand Experience Division, the Marketing Strategy Manager will work across key projects – supporting the delivery of the Annual Marketing Strategy, Planning & Budgeting Process, and Campaign Reviews.

The role may also involve building presentations and business cases for other priorities as they emerge throughout the year.

The role will work closely with the Group Marketing Campaign Manager and the Marketing Campaign team, Finance Business Partner, and Senior Analytics Manager.

About the Role

The Marketing Strategy Manager will support the Marketing Director and broader Brand Experience Leadership team in the Annual Marketing Strategy, Planning and Budgeting process. This will include working closely with finance to iterate the Marketing Budget across the Brand Experience Division to deliver the H1 budget review and deliver 2025 planning.

Additionally, the Marketing Strategy Manager will liaise across various teams to coordinate and consolidate insights – holding meetings with key stakeholders to understand priorities for 2025, and supporting to drive the consolidation of the overall Annual Marketing Plan.

Responsibilities include strategic problem solving, data aggregation and analysis, insight development, business casing, project management, and preparation of management level presentations.

When and where required, this role will also support on additional strategic and priority programs across the Marketing function as, and when, such projects arise.

About You

This role will provide variety and give you the opportunity to roll up your sleeves, drive change, and learn about marketing at the world’s leading luxury department store.

 We are looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to get into the detail while understanding the bigger picture
  • Exceptional communication skills & ability to work with stakeholders
  • Advanced fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to create management ready, synthesized presentations
  • Project management and delivery capability
  • Ability to manage and prioritise across numerous tasks
  • Prior experience as a strategy consultant, internal strategic role or in financial planning
