Merchandise Administration Assistant

We’re looking for a Merchandising Admin Assistant to support Harrods’ Food & Beverage team, playing a vital role in driving product availability and commercial success across our range.

About the Role

As a Merchandising Admin Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Merchandising team to maximise profitability and availability across all channels. You’ll manage data, analyse sales and stock performance, and help ensure our customers enjoy an exceptional shopping experience. This is a dynamic role where analytical thinking, organisation, and collaboration come together to deliver commercial success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing administrative support to the Merchandising team, ensuring stock and data integrity across systems.
• Running trade and availability reports, analysing results, and taking action to drive sales performance.
• Managing product and stock information, ensuring accurate listings, pricing, and lifecycle coding.
• Liaising with supply chain and retail teams to optimise stock flow, resolve issues, and maintain availability.
• Supporting process improvements and department strategy through accurate reporting and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You

You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about retail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in supporting the smooth running of a department where accuracy and timing are everything. You’ll have a head for numbers, a natural curiosity for data, and the confidence to communicate your insights clearly. Building strong working relationships across teams comes naturally to you, and you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

You will:

• Have experience in a similar merchandising, administrative, or analytical role within retail or FMCG.
• Be proficient in Excel and confident working with data and reporting tools.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Be highly organised, accurate, and able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively, building trusted relationships across teams.
