Our Design team is looking for a Packaging Designer.  With a knowledge of branding, packaging and print collateral, you will be joining the team in supporting a variety of food packaging design, and various non-food packaging projects.

This team are responsible for all Harrods products you see, including all own-brand food packaging, Signature, restaurant updates, menus and product labels.  They manage the design of products for all key calendar events throughout the year and even create the beautiful beauty advent calendars. 

About the Role

As the Packaging Designer amongst our team, you will report into the Lead Project Manager.  You will manage your own projects from conception through to completion and present your design evolution and ideation of projects to the Lead Project Manager and Senior Packaging Designer. You will collaborate and communicate directly with cross-functional teams, and communicate needs and production requirements to our Artworker and Senior Packaging Designer.

You will –

  • Participate in design reviews with the broader Harrods teams
  • Be accountable for approving relevant colour & design components of packaging
  • Keep up-to-date on current art, design and competition
  • Participate in meetings with our stakeholders
  • Keep the Senior Packaging Designer up to date with all projects

About You

You must have demonstrable experience using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign – these will be tested at interview.

  • Be keen to develop your communication skills by working with stakeholders around the business
  • Enjoy working in a professional setting with targets and working to fast pace
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
